Bras Basah in Daylight - 29 Nov 08
Location: Singapore Art Museum
And so began our journey, in front of a giant balloon resting on the front yard of the Singapore Art Museum, formerly St. Joseph's Institution.
Off-center view of the Singapore Art Museum. The bronze statue on the second floor, center of building is a man showing the way to two young children. On the right wing is an installation art imitating the way clothes are hung out to dry in Singaporean residential buildings.
The corridor of dusty ceiling lamps.
Whimsical bronze sculpture on the front yard.
We happened to walk into a wedding dinner party in the museum cafe - decorated lamp post.
View from the back
Sculpture of coolies
